Umberto

Umberto is a Designated Chartered Professional Accountant / Certified Management Accountant (CPA, CMA) in Canada. He has a degree of Bachelors of Science in Education, and a Masters in Business Administration. He is a Certified Professional Marketer – Asia and a Licensed Professional Teacher in the Philippines.

He founded and incorporated Lombosco Academy Foundation Inc. in Yr 2000. The school is on its 20th year of operation which offers Early Childhood and complete Elementary Education. He remains to be the Chairman of the Board and Founding President of this institution. In Canada, he was instrumental in incorporating a registered charitable private foundation that supports the tertiary education of less-privileged youth in the Philippines. He also established Lombosco Publications Canada to print books for children and young adults.

He worked at the Richmond General Hospital and the Vancouver General Hospital under the Vancouver Coastal Health Authority in British Columbia. Currently, he is employed at the University of British Columbia, Canada.

He believes that immigration is a national strategy of Canada which should continue for economic growth and sustainability. His usual quote is: “Everyone has space here in Canada…it’s just a matter of time for a new immigrant to find his/her own spot. If you smell good, your aura will permeate; you will shine…your credentials will be recognized and will come to fruition, maybe even beyond your expectations.”
